$1.5M IN PURCHASE ORDERS
Melbourne, FL, May 20, 2003 - AirNet Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:
ANCC), the technology leader in base station products for wireless communications, today announced that it has received purchase orders totaling approximately $1.5M. AirNet has intentionally withheld customer and market information at the specific request of each customer. Revenue from these orders is expected to be recognized in the second quarter of this year.
"We have been cultivating these orders for several months," said Glenn Ehley, President and CEO for AirNet Communications Corporation. "Both of these customers are enthusiastic about AirNet's products and capabilities, and I believe there is an opportunity for expansion purchases over the next two quarters."
