AIRNET RECEIVES ISO CERTIFICATION UNDER 9001:2000 STANDARD -
Confirms Adherence to Globally Recognized Quality Standard
Melbourne, FL, November 21, 2002 - AirNet Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: ANCC), the technology leader in software defined base station products for wireless communications, today announced that it achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification (Certificate No. CERT-04124-2002-AQ-HOU-RAB) through Det Norske Veritas, Inc. The issuance of this certificate confirms that AirNet adheres to the internationally recognized quality standard.
AirNet joins an elite group of Companies in North America who have received certification under the ISO 9001:2000 standard. Currently, approximately 10% of U.S. firms have achieved certification of their quality management system (QMS) to the new revision of the ISO 9001 standard. ISO 9001:2000 is the globally recognized standard for QMS aimed at consistently producing and delivering the highest quality products and services necessary to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
