AirNet Receives $1.6M in New Orders
Government Communications Program Continues to Build Momentum
Melbourne, FL, April 5 , 2005 - AirNet Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: ANCC),
the technology leader in base station products for wireless communications, today announced that it has received a new order for its base station products and services totaling approximately $1.6M from an undisclosed government customer. Revenue from this order is expected to be recognized throughout the remainder of this year.

Since 2003, this customer has purchased nearly $10M in AirNetís products and services. This purchase is the fourth expansion purchased from the inception of the initial contract.
